Every plan marks against your own rubric and drafts a mark and a comment for each criterion, and you confirm or change each one before anything reaches a student. You pay for what you mark: one credit is one submission, and the bigger the plan or the longer you pay ahead, the less each credit costs.
Start on Free and mark one submission every day, with no card.

Pricing questions
One credit marks one submission, whatever it holds: a report, a code project, or an app with its screenshots. A very large submission uses two. A submission where no work was found uses none. Reading or drafting a rubric, or reading the spec, uses none.
The charge follows how much the marker reads. One credit covers about 200,000 characters of text, with each image counting as about 4,400 characters. The largest ordinary submission we tested, an app project with 24 screenshots, fits in one credit. Anything bigger uses two, which is the most one submission can cost.
No. Free needs only an account. It gives you one marking credit a day, reset at midnight in your timezone, for any student in any assessment.
No. Paid credits refill on the first of each month on every billing interval, and unused plan credits do not carry over. Bonus credits from confirming AI marks are kept, up to 9 unspent at a time.
Yes. Pro can mark up to 150 submissions a day, Plus 300 and Max 450 (1 credit = 1 submission), reset at midnight in your timezone. It keeps marking fast for everyone.
No. There is no limit on how many assessments you create or how many students each one holds, on every plan. A plan only sets how many submissions it marks. Each upload starts a project named from the unit and assessment.

Yes. Once you pay, you can move between Pro, Plus and Max from Plans in your account. Moving up applies at once: nothing is charged at the moment you switch, and the difference for the rest of the period goes on your next invoice. Moving down waits until the period you paid for ends, so you keep what you paid for. You can change your billing interval there too; a new interval starts a new billing period, so it is charged on the day, less a credit for unused time.
Yes, from Billing in your account. You keep your paid plan until the end of the period you have paid for, then the account moves to Free. Fees already paid are not refunded for change of mind. This does not limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Nothing is deleted. Your projects, marks and exports stay, and you can still start new ones. Marking uses the daily Free allowance.
