What is in an export

Updated

Every export uses the same marking sheet layout: one row per criterion with its maximum, the mark awarded and the comment, followed by the late penalty and the total.

Each student's marking sheet

The per-student Excel sheet and the PDF both contain:

  1. The unit, for example "INFT2001: Mobile App Development".
  2. The assessment, for example "Assessment 1: Android App".
  3. The student's name and ID.
  4. A table with the columns Items, Marks, Marks Obtained and Comments, one row per criterion.
  5. Days submitted late.
  6. Late submission penalty, with the daily rate, for example "(5% per day)".
  7. Total.
  8. Weighted Total, only when your project's Total marks differs from the rubric's total.
  9. Your details under Marked by:, if you have turned them on.

In the Excel sheet, the penalty and total cells are formulas. If you change a mark or the days late in Excel, the total updates.

The class workbook

The Excel option under Download all gives one Results sheet with a row per marked student and these columns:

  • Student and Student ID
  • One column per criterion, headed C1, C2 and so on, with a key under the table
  • Subtotal, Days late, Penalty and Final mark

This sheet holds values, not formulas. Edit marks on the per-student sheets or in DeepMarking.

Add your details as the marker

  1. Open the account menu at the bottom of the sidebar and choose Profile.
  2. Fill in any of Title, Full name, University, School / College, Contact number and Address.
  3. Turn on Show my details on exports.

The Preview shows the block as it will appear. It is added to each student's Excel and PDF marking sheet under Marked by:, with your email address on the contact line. It is off until you turn it on.
